Louise Malone was born in Glasgow in 1967. Fifty one years of creativity can’t be a bad thing, can it?
She lives for art and art, in return, fills her with life. She expresses herself visually in many ways including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, installations and sculpture. She also gives occasional poetry readings and micro performances.
Louise has recently completed a portrait of one of Scotland’s finest living poets, the near legendary Dr. Jim Ferguson. Her intention is to continue this theme by painting a series of non gender specific living writers and poets, emphasising the similarities between the disciplines of visual art and the written word, culminating in a multimedia event incorporating an exhibition and performance space.
